Evolving MLOps for IoT: Continuous Learning, Distributed Deployment, and Monitoring


Dr Aftab Khan, Bristol Research and Innovation Laboratory, Toshiba Europe Ltd., UK

Dr. Aftab Khan holds a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of Surrey, U.K., and is a recognized leader in Distributed AI with over a decade of experience in both academia and industry. Currently the Distributed AI Programme Leader at Toshiba Europe's Bristol Research and Innovation Laboratory, he has contributed significantly to several high-profile EU and EPSRC projects, including EU Horizon REPLICATE, SiDE, TEDDI, and ACASVA, as well as industry-led Innovate UK initiatives like SYNERGIA and CAVShield. Dr. Khan's research focuses on areas such as AI-driven cybersecurity, computational behavior analysis, and pattern recognition. His deep expertise is shaping the future of distributed MLOps frameworks, bridging cutting-edge research with impactful real-world applications.
